How do I reset my AT&T Wi-Fi Box?
Reboot your gateway or modem manually
1.
Unplug the power cord from the back of your
gateway or modem. If you have:

An internal battery backup, remove it.
·
DSL service, also unplug your telephone cord
from modem or gateway.
2.
Wait 20 seconds.
3.
Put the internal battery back in, if applicable.
4.
Plug the power cord back in. If you've got DSL
service, reconnect the telephone cord too.
5.
Wait up to 10 min for the gateway or modem to
reboot and your Broadband light to blink green.
Reset your gateway
Heads up: Make sure to make note of any custom settings,
like your static IP address if you've one, or your Wi-Fi network name (SSID).Press
and hold the Reset button on the gateway for a minimum of 10 seconds. If you

Wait until the gateway restarts and all the status lights
are lit.
If the Broadband or Service status lights are solid green,
the reset succeeded.
Restarting and Factory Resetting your gateway is a common
fix for several problems. However, if there is a problem in your area, this
won't help.
Things to note while the gateway is restarting:

Some LED lights can blink until service is
restored
·
The Wi-Fi LED can stay off till a wireless
device connects to the network
·
Your Phone line, TV and net will be unavailable
until the service is restored
·
Any programs currently recording will be
disrupted
Hardware Reset
1. Restart Gateway
Unplug the power connection for ~15 sec.
Plug back in and wait for the broadband light to go green,
this could take 2-5 minutes.
2. Factory Reset Gateway
WARNING: This can return all gateway settings to a
default state. Any custom Wi-Fi passwords, Wi-Fi names, SSID, Static IP, and
Port Forwarding rules will be lost.Settings are often restored, scroll to
accepted solutions for steps to restore settings.

the lower rear of the gateway
·
Depress for ~15 seconds.
How do I Reset

Disconnect your router and modem from the power supply.
·
Wait for some time and plug the modem back into the power
supply.
·
Wait for 60 sec and power on the router by pressing the Power

Now, wait for the router to restart. Check whether the problem
prevails.

If you face the same problem, you can use a paper clip to press
the Reset button. Locate the Reset button on your router.
·
The position of the Reset button changes for various routers.
·
Insert the paper clip into the Reset hole and wait for 20
seconds.
·
To customize the Wi-Fi router’s settings, launch the setup page.
·
Change the settings and click Save.
